Among Us is a game of teamwork and betrayal. A crew is trapped on a spaceship trying to finish its tasks and get home — but one or more of them is an Impostor whose job is to quietly eliminate the crew and sabotage the ship without getting caught.

What is Among Us?

The tension in Among Us comes from not knowing who to believe. As a Crewmate, you dash around the map completing small tasks while keeping one eye on everyone else, because at any moment a body could be discovered — or you could be cornered alone.

As the Impostor, you blend in, fake tasks, and pick off isolated crewmates before slipping through the vents to escape the scene. When a body is found or a meeting is called, the group votes on who to eject, and that is where the real game happens: accusations, alibis, and trying to read who is lying.

How to Play Among Us

Crewmates win by finishing all their tasks or by voting out every Impostor. The Impostor wins when their numbers equal the crew's, or by sabotaging critical systems — like the reactor or oxygen — faster than the crew can fix them. Move around the map to reach tasks and complete them, and call an emergency meeting when you see something suspicious.

Among Us Tips

(Crewmate) travel in groups

An Impostor will not strike a cluster of witnesses. Lone crewmates are easy targets, so buddy up.

(Crewmate) watch the task bar

Real tasks fill the shared progress bar. A crewmate "completing" a task with no bar movement is worth watching.

(Crewmate) fix sabotages fast

Reactor and oxygen sabotages end the game on a timer if no one fixes them. Drop what you are doing and run.

(Impostor) build an alibi early

Be seen doing fake tasks near others at the start, so when a body drops you have a credible story.

(Impostor) sabotage to split the crew

Lights and comms force crewmates to scatter, creating the isolated targets you need.

In meetings, follow the logic

Who was seen where? Whose story shifts? Calm reasoning wins more votes than shouting.
