Drift Hunters is a 3D drifting game where style is the whole point. There is no rival and no finish line — just you, a car, and an open track, earning points for every controlled slide you can hold and chain together.

What is Drift Hunters?

Where most driving games reward crossing a line first, Drift Hunters rewards how you take the corner. Points build for as long as your tires are sliding at speed, and they multiply when you link drifts together without straightening out. That creates a rhythm: initiate, hold, transition, hold again, bank the combo.

The money you earn goes into a deep garage — dozens of cars from cheap tuners to high-end supercars, plus a tuning system covering power, grip, weight, and gearing that genuinely changes how each vehicle behaves on the track.

How to Play Drift Hunters

Pick a car and a track, then drift. Break rear traction with a flick and the handbrake, then balance the slide with counter-steer and throttle to hold it through the bend. Bank your points by ending the slide cleanly, or — better — keep it going from one corner into the next to build a multiplier.

Cash earned from drifting is spent in the garage on faster cars and tuning parts. More power makes bigger slides possible; more grip makes them controllable; gearing changes how the car responds on the throttle.

W Accelerate
S Brake / reverse

Drift Hunters Tips

Start with a low-power car

A slower car is far easier to learn on. Build a feel for initiating and holding a slide before you buy horsepower you cannot control.

Break traction with the handbrake

A tap of Space on corner entry snaps the back end loose so you can start the drift and catch it with counter-steer.

Counter-steer to hold it

Once sideways, steer into the slide and feather the throttle. Smooth inputs keep the car balanced; stabbing the throttle spins you out.

Link your drifts

Going straight resets your multiplier. Plan your line so one corner flows into the next, and transition the drift rather than stopping between bends.

Upgrade incrementally

A little more power and a touch more grip transform a car. Do not dump everything into one stat — balance matters more than peak numbers.

Use the whole track

Long, sweeping entries give you more time at angle and speed, which means more points. Tight entries kill your combo before it starts.

FAQ About Drift Hunters

Is Drift Hunters free?

Yes, free to play in the browser.

Can I play Drift Hunters on mobile?

Not really — it relies on a full set of keyboard controls (throttle, brake, handbrake, gears), so it is a desktop game.

How do I earn money?

By drifting. The longer, faster, and cleaner your slides — and the more you link them — the more cash you bank per run.

How many cars are there?

Dozens, ranging from affordable Japanese tuners to expensive supercars, each with its own handling character.

What is the best car?

There is no single answer — it depends on your tuning and driving style. A well-set-up mid-tier car often beats a stock supercar.
